GENERAL RULES

All persons must comply with any reasonable requests, directions or instructions given to them by a member of the theatre staff.

The theatre staff reserves the right to refuse entry and to remove any persons from the premises without assigning any reason.

All users must enter and leave by the stage door and must sign in and out.

The visiting company shall be responsible for maintaining the order of its members and for providing controls at doorways as to allow free access and exit where necessary.

Maximum permitted numbers as advised by management will be adhered to.

Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted unless there is a company chaperone present.

Fire doors, routes and appliances must be kept clear.

Any persons operating electrical or mechanical equipment must be deemed competent to do so. The Whitehall Theatre may replace persons deemed unfit or unsafe at cost to the visiting company.

ANY electrical equipment brought onto the premises, including dressing rooms must carry valid certification or verification that it is safe to use.

No food or drink is allowed on stage or in technical areas during set up or performance.

All areas must be left as they were found. Any cleaning, repair or reinstatement to original condition may incur recharge.

Anything brought into the premises must be removed on the last night of the performance unless pre-arranged. Failure to do so may incur additional charges. The Whitehall Theatre reserves the right to dispose of any unclaimed items.
“No matter how much talent one may have, ‘honesty’ and ‘reliability’ are key elements to being a successful stage performer. Without these attributes, one is doomed to failure!”– Brian Boardman
