'Tis the season to be jolly! And how well Tread the Boards proved that fact in the Caird Hall with their "Christmas Showstoppers" show last night (Sunday)!
It was a wonderful celebration for the forthcoming Festive Season and it certainly put me into the true Christmas spirit. Among the 72 songs that were performed, there just had to be something for everyone to enjoy! There was never a dull moment in the very colourful festive production. All the soloists were in top form, as was everyone concerned with the show, and it was indeed gratifying to see the Caird Hall filled with a large appreciative audience. Obviously a lot of hard work had gone into this production by cast, production team, and everyone behind the scenes, so a big "well done" to them. I have to say that this show richly deserved to be performed for more than the two performances it was scheduled! That said, congratulations to everyone concerned with the show and I wish all in Tread the Boards a Very Merry Christmas and Every Success with your productions in 2010. With All Best Wishes, Roger Buist NODA Scotland Regional Representative No. 2 District Edited by Brian - 25/Dec/2009 at 10:18pm |

“No matter how much talent one may have, ‘honesty’ and ‘reliability’ are key elements to being a successful stage performer. Without these attributes, one is doomed to failure!”– Brian Boardman
